PRIVACY · BETA

Your projects. Your account.

LayerVista stores projects locally and, when signed in, in private cloud storage so you can continue on another device.

Sign-in and cloud storage

The current beta uses Supabase for email and password authentication. The app sends your credentials to Supabase over HTTPS and stores session tokens on your device to keep you signed in. Your user ID links projects to your account; your email is shown in account details.

When you create or edit a project while signed in, PDFs, file names, selected pages, alignments and views are uploaded to Supabase. Access is restricted to the project owner through the configured access policies. LayerVista does not use advertising or analytics services.

Projects saved in the previous web version remain in the original Sites cloud storage (Cloudflare D1/R2). The link in My projects lets you export them using the original hosting account.

Local storage and offline work

The last open project and pending sync queue remain on your device. You can work with already available plans offline. Changes are not confirmed on another device until Saved to cloud appears. Reopen the app online to finish syncing.

Export and deletion

Menu → More options → Backups exports an unencrypted file containing PDFs and alignments. Your chosen storage location or sharing app may use its own cloud service. In the native app, a temporary shared copy remains in the cache so the receiving app can read it; the operating system can clear that cache.

Delete local project removes the active local copy. The cloud copy remains. In this beta, deleting a project in My projects removes it from the list, but its PDFs remain in private cloud storage. Contact us below to request complete deletion. Local and exported copies remain on their devices.

Signing out does not delete local copies. Before leaving a shared device, delete the local project and, if needed, the site’s stored data.
